The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and safety monitoring for pediatric patients with behavioral health challenges. They implement individualized treatment plans and utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a stable, trauma-informed environment.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Candidates should ideally have one year of experience with behavioral health needs and must obtain BLS/CPR and crisis intervention certifications.
