Assists physicians and nursing staff with direct patient care and clinical tasks. Manages appointment scheduling, patient charts, and utilizes electronic systems for documentation.
Requires a Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification. Candidates should have a high school diploma and either graduation from an accredited program or two years of supervised medical experience.
Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties. Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
