Duties & Responsibilities

Provide labor and delivery coverage for the hospitalist model, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Manage high-risk and low-risk OB patients, including complications such as toxemia, diabetes, etc. Back up midwife services and respond to call for midwife from 7p-7a. Perform emergent GYN surgical procedures (laparoscopic and open) as needed for unassigned ER patients. Collaborate with RNs, CNM, and other OB/GYN providers to ensure continuity of care.
