The pharmacist is responsible for ensuring accurate drug distribution and interpreting pharmacokinetic lab data to formulate medication monitoring plans. They also provide drug information to healthcare professionals and document medication use variances and adverse drug reactions.
Candidates must have a B.S. or Pharm.D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy and be licensed to practice in Connecticut. Two years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience and a residency are preferred.
