The LVN is responsible for administering medications, conducting nursing assessments, and monitoring patients for withdrawal and mental health stability. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, holistic care and maintain compliant medical records.
Candidates must hold an active CA LVN license, a relevant associate degree in nursing, and current BLS/CPR certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detoxification settings is required.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms, mental health status changes, medication side effects and overall medical stability Conduct nursing assessments, intake screenings, vital signs, and ongoing patient observations Support patients experiencing substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and co-occurring condition in a professional manner Accurately document patient care, medication administration, incidents, and clinical observations Collaborate closely with fellow nurses, nursing director, physicians, therapists, case managers, and team members to coordinate patient care and treatment planning Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, relapse prevention, coping strategies, wellness and recovery resources Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and patient safety concerns while following facility procedures. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment for patients and fellow staff Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, physical condition, or risk factors to the treatment center team. Support patients through their recovery process by promoting our integrative and holistic treatment approach Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant medical records in accordance with facility policies, HIPPA, CARF, and applicable state and federal regulations Respond appropriately to patient concerns, crisis situations, and medical or behavioral health emergencies while ensuring patient safety at all times Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment focused on respect, healing, and recovery Ensure confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standard of care Participate in staff meetings, trainings, compliance initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and commitment to quality patient care Adhere to company policies and procedures
Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing (ASVN/AS-VN) or Associate of Occupational Science in Vocational Nursing (AOSVN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) Active CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license Current Basic Life Support CPR certification that includes AED training and hands-on skills assessment 2+ years: Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, substance abuse recovery, detoxification, and/or outpatient healthcare settings Experience working with patients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and relapse prevention Experience with integrative and holistic treatment approach
