Perform all aspects of CT scanning and patient care within a hematology and oncology practice. Responsibilities include positioning patients, selecting technical parameters, and administering contrast media.
Candidates must hold an active Florida state license and an ARRT certificate or equivalent. Proficiency in starting IV lines and adherence to radiation safety standards are required.
A private physician group specializing in Hematology and Oncology is seeking a PER-DIEM CT Technologist. Ideal position for Technologists looking for extra hours who are currently working 2nd / 3rd shift or weekends. Experience with GE scanners preferred but not required. Position requirements: Have good communication skills with patients and coworkers. Willingness to perform all aspects of patient care within the scope of practice. Utilize radiation protection and safety standards. Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Proficiency starting IV access lines. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice. Ability to work independently and with direction from senior staff. Willingness to follow Department and Practice policies.
