Deliver comprehensive care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, and intervention. Manage intermediate care needs and various drips while maintaining continuity of care across shifts.
Requires a nursing diploma and an associate degree from an accredited program, with a BSN preferred. Candidates must have one year of RN experience or residency completion, and hold BCLS and ACLS certifications.

Here’s What You Need · Nursing Diploma required · Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required · BSN preferred · One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required · One-year strong Medical Telemetry experience in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred · RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
What You Will Do · Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · Assesses the patient · Plans the care of the patient · Intervenes as appropriate · Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions · Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care · Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information · Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers · Intermediate care focused · Management of various drips
