Responsible for treating pulmonary patients, providing education for COPD and Pneumonia, and leading the Better Breathers and Quit Smoking programs. Duties include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and providing procedural bronchoscopy coverage.
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Provides patient education and performs chart reviews for COPD and Pneumonia patients and readmissions Runs AHMMC COPD and Pneumonia readmission review committee monthly Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) certification required to provide CTTS counseling to AH MMC inpatients referred for counseling Better Breathers and Quit Smoking program lead Pre and intra op procedural bronchoscopy coverage, as needed

Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.

Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.

Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.

Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.

Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.

Records patient vital signs and medical information.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
