The Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens and performing laboratory support procedures. This includes specimen collection and order entry while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with no prior experience necessary. Preferred candidates have over one year of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
The Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, preforms a variety of laboratory support procedures including specimen collection, order entry, processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality. Processor accepts assignments to various work locations within the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required.

Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing Lab data entry experience
