Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a fast-paced walk-in clinic. Responsibilities include performing musculoskeletal assessments, ordering diagnostic imaging, and executing minor orthopedic procedures.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with active state licensure and DEA certification. Prior experience in orthopedics, urgent care, sports medicine, or emergency medicine is required.

Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting to Walk-In Orthopedic Care. Perform focused musculoskeletal assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for acute orthopedic injuries and conditions. Order, interpret, and review diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, as clinically indicated. Apply orthopedic splints, braces, casts, and other immobilization devices as needed. Perform minor orthopedic procedures within scope of practice, including joint injections, aspirations, and wound care. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, injury prevention, and follow-up care recommendations. Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, radiology staff, and ancillary clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record. Facilitate appropriate referrals and follow-up appointments with orthopedic specialists when necessary. Maintain a patient-centered approach while delivering timely care in a fast-paced walk-in clinic environment.
