Assists licensed therapists in delivering rehabilitative care, including patient preparation, exercises, and gait training. Maintains a safe environment and manages equipment inventory to ensure quality patient care.
Overview Assists with rehabilitative care to improve functional goals of persons served as directed by the Physical, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist.
This may include preparation of patient for therapy, assisting with ambulation, exercises, and other basic treatments.
Creates a comfortable and safe environment.
Actions are team oriented to successfully provide quality care and a high level of satisfaction for persons served through evidence - based practice.
Hours Available: (2) PRN As Needed: Location: Lutheran Hospital.

Assist licensed therapists with treatment preparation and rehabilitation activities, including exercise, gait support, hot/cold applications, hydrotherapy, and technique reinforcement under supervision. Maintain equipment, supplies, and resources by cleaning, inventorying, ordering, stocking, and supporting efficient daily operations. Prioritize patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and promptly reporting compliance or safety concerns. Support evidence-based care, process improvement, innovation, and initiatives that enhance care delivery, quality, and patient experience. Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, teamwork, holistic patient care, and willingness to learn new skills to meet patient and business needs.
Education:Graduation from high school or GED Required.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS (CPR) certification. Prior related healthcare experience is preferred.
