Facilitate patient flow by performing assessments, administering medications, and conducting non-physician diagnostic tests. Support providers during office surgeries and manage the preparation and maintenance of exam rooms.
Must be a graduate of a medical assisting program, preferably as a Certified or Registered MA. Requires the physical ability to handle high patient volumes and perform fine motor tasks like injections and phlebotomy.
Clinical Care Assistants function as part of the Clinical Care Team at our Hamburg and Brannon Crossing locations to facilitate patient flow through the clinical area to include patient assessment, assisting with procedures, performing non-physician diagnostic testing as ordered, administering medications, scheduling referral appointments, and giving discharge instructions to patients.
Experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting is a plus, as FPA provides care to patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults.
