Perform therapeutic communication and interventions with psychiatric patients while monitoring behavior and reporting incidents to the Charge Nurse. Assist patients with activities of daily living and record vital signs and biological needs under RN supervision.
Requires an Associate's degree in human services or active enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in psychology or a related field. BLS certification is required, and previous experience in behavioral health is preferred.

Observes the condition of the patient and communicates with the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis concerning the patient's behavior. Reports any unusual situation or incidents observed. Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
