The Registered Nurse is responsible for the management and delivery of complex nursing care to ICU patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This includes providing direct patient care, delegating responsibilities, and monitoring patients to achieve desired health outcomes.
Candidates must have graduated from a Registered Professional Nursing Program and hold a current New York State RN license. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, and new hires are required to obtain one within five years.
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $37.00 to $61.74 per hour. (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements).
Glens Falls Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team! The Intensive Care Unit is staffed and equipped to provide highly skilled interdisciplinary services to patients requiring complex and intensive nursing care interventions for life-threatening conditions. With patients in a 2:1 ratio with nurses, this allows close monitoring for a more effective care plan.
In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and within the scope of practice delineated in the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Provides direct patient care, delegates/assigns responsibility as appropriate to others, and serves as leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician.
