The Certified Medical Assistant provides superior patient care by performing both clinical and administrative tasks. They work as part of a care team led by physicians and advanced practice providers in a clinic environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, graduate from an accredited medical assistant program, and hold a CMA or RMA certification. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge is necessary.
The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
