The Medical Office Assistant supports patient care by preparing exam rooms, recording vitals, and assisting with clinical procedures like EKGs. They also handle administrative tasks including front desk support, insurance verification, and coordinating patient flow.
Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and BCLS certification are required. Professional certification (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT) and strong clinical skills in phlebotomy are preferred.
