About the role

The nurse is responsible for performing body audits and treating wounds, skin tears, and abrasions. They must maintain detailed documentation in EHR systems and participate in care plan meetings.

Nurse will complete all body audits as required by facility, state or federal regulations and PRN.

Will perform all task related to any wounds, skin tears, abrasions and other skin/wound issues as required.

Will complete necessary assessments, not limited to daily, weekly, monthly and complete any necessary documentation including EHR, written documentation or other avenues as needed.

Nurse will report directly to Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing.

Must be a team player, attend all required in-services, training's, meetings as directed by the DON.

Must be a team player, attend daily morning meetings, offer solutions, input and suggestions.

Attend Care Plan meeting as required.

Preference is given to those with wound care experience.

Requirements

Candidates must be team players capable of attending daily meetings and required training. Preference is given to those with prior experience in wound care.
