The RN is responsible for managing patient admissions, transfers, and performing systematic assessments. They must ensure accurate documentation in EPIC and process medical orders while counseling patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license and BLS certification. A BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program and prior clinical experience are preferred.
Receive admissions and/or transfers Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately Instruct and counsel patients/families
Minimum Qualifications: Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS required at hire
