Responsibilities

may include, but are not limited to: Assist residents with daily personal care and hygiene Assist with feeding residents Weigh residents using upright, chair, and mechanical lift scales Assist with turning and positioning of residents Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for safety Assist residents with mobility needs, including safe use of wheelchairs, walkers, and canes as appropriate Demonstrate safe use of medical equipment (mechanical lifts, side rails, braces, splints, oxygen, mobility aids) Help keep residents’ rooms clean and properly supplied Make and change beds (unoccupied and occupied) Ambulate residents requiring minimal assistance Perform skin checks and report any abnormalities to the nurse Respond to call lights and take appropriate action Immediately report any abuse, neglect, incidents, or changes in resident condition to the nurse Communicate resident requests or concerns in a timely manner

Requirements
