• We are currently seeking a part-time caregiver for a client in Montgomery Village who experiences seizures and has epilepsy.
• Experience caring for clients with seizure disorders is required.
• This position primarily involves companion care, including accompanying the client to the grocery store, appointments, and other errands.
• The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

• to include but not limited to:
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and assisting with shredding
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Watching for signs of an epileptic seizure
