Prepare and maintain sterile fields while assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures. Manage endovascular equipment and supplies to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety in the Angio Suite.
Requires a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program with at least three years of scrub experience and two years in an Endovascular or Cath Lab environment. CST certification is preferred, and candidates must be able to wear lead protection and lift up to 50 pounds.

We are seeking an experienced Endovascular Scrub Technician / Cath Lab Technologist to join our Angio Suite team. This role is critical in supporting physicians during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures while ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized procedural environment.
The Endovascular Scrub Technician / Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, assisting physicians during vascular and interventional procedures, handling endovascular equipment and supplies, and supporting procedural efficiency and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery Center, or Hybrid OR environment and be comfortable assisting with diagnostic angiograms, peripheral interventions, atherectomy procedures, stent placement, thrombectomy procedures, and other minimally invasive vascular treatments.
Angio Suite Nursing Director / Clinical Leadership Per Diem - Thursday and Friday's to start Key Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms for diagnostic and interventional vascular cases Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures Scrub and assist physicians during vascular and endovascular procedures Anticipate physician needs and provide instruments, catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, atherectomy devices, and other procedural equipment Assist with peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, thrombectomy, venous interventions, and related procedures Prepare and maintain procedural trays and supplies Operate and troubleshoot procedural equipment as needed Assist with patient positioning and procedural preparation Ensure proper handling and tracking of implants and procedural devices Maintain inventory and stock levels for procedural supplies and equipment Participate in room turnover and preparation between cases Follow infection control, sterile processing, and safety standards Assist with emergency situations and procedural complications as directed Accurately document implant logs, supply utilization, and procedural information Support quality assurance, accreditation, and regulatory compliance initiatives Collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiology staff, and clinical leadership to promote efficient patient flow and positive patient outcomes
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred Minimum three (3) years of scrub experience required Minimum two (2) years of Endovascular, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or Hybrid OR experience required Strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural safety standards Experience handling vascular intervention equipment including: Guidewires Sheaths Diagnostic catheters Balloons Stents Atherectomy devices Closure devices Thrombectomy systems Knowledge of radiation safety principles Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced procedural environment Excellent organizational and communication skills
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification Endovascular surgery experience Peripheral vascular intervention experience Cath Lab experience Hybrid Operating Room experience Experience in AAAHC or CMS-accredited facilities ACLS certification preferred Experience with inventory management and implant tracking systems Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Work Schedule Thursday & Friday Day shift No routine weekends No major holidays Occasional overtime based on procedural volume Travel between office locations may occasionally be required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during procedures Ability to wear lead aprons and radiation protection equipment throughout procedural cases Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds Ability to assist with patient positioning and transfers Frequent bending, reaching, and movement within procedural suites Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff
