Overview Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg, in Saratoga Springs, New York. Start date: 07/06/2026 for a travel - temporary assignment spanning several weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,931-$2,114 per week; no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
Provide direct bedside nursing care to adults and geriatrics on a high-volume medical-surgical unit with telemetry
Manage assessments, medications, IV therapy, wound care, and basic post-operative care; respond to rapid responses and emergencies
Monitor patients via remote central monitoring; collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Social Work, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Transport teams; participate in planning and discharge processes
Perform accurate EPIC charting, documentation, and adherence to isolation/PPE protocols; support isolation precautions and infection control
Float within scope of practice as directed by unit leadership; support interdisciplinary care and patient-family communication
Requirements
Current NY Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience; 2 years in the med-surg specialty noted
Prior travel nursing experience required
EKG/Relias exam requirement and onsite EKG testing expected per facility policy
Ability to work in a hospital med-surg setting with telemetry; comfortable floating within scope of practice
Local candidate restriction: Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Saratoga Springs, NY are not accepted
