Lane Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Public Health Investigator to support critical public health initiatives within the Houston community. This role involves conducting advanced tuberculosis (TB) and tuberculosis infection (TBI) investigations, including in-home patient visits, case management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure effective disease control and prevention.

Responsibilities: Conduct complex TB and TBI case investigations and contact tracing Perform in-home patient visits to assess conditions and provide support Monitor treatment adherence and ensure proper follow-up care Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation Coordinate care with healthcare providers, clinics, and community partners Provide mentorship and guidance to junior investigative staff Support public health intervention strategies in alignment with established guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, or a closely related field OR equivalent professional public health experience (year-for-year substitution) Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the public health field Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to comply with City of Houston driving policies
Strong understanding of public health practices and disease control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively High level of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations
