Clinicians must be familiar with trauma-informed treatments for families facing systemic barriers and mental/behavioral health challenges. Clinicians are tasked with completing paperwork in a timely manner (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans), and will be offered support as needed for the administrative aspects of community mental health.
CSI was one of the first outpatient community mental health clinics to offer home-based therapy to families facing barriers to mental health care. CSI’s community outreach model started after long-term psychiatric hospitals were shut down in the 60’s-70’s and replaced with outpatient mental health services. For nearly four decades, CSI has remained dedicated to social justice and delivering therapy in accessible ways, regardless of a person’s circumstance. CSI clinicians have the flexibility of a hybrid model, seeing clients virtually, in-office, and in community settings.
