Performs routine and special patient care procedures for critically ill and stable patients in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, transporting patients, and maintaining supply areas under nursing direction.
A High School Diploma or GED and AHA Basic Life Support certification are required. EMT or PCA certification and prior hospital patient care experience are preferred.
