Summary The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a candidate to fill their Therapist position. This position is for a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who will be working in a team environment in the Outpatient Clinic of the Child and Adolescent Division of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services at the Medical University of South Carolina. Location: The position will likely be split between time at MUSC in Charleston at 67 President Street, Charleston and Pediatrics Northwoods at 2070 Northbrook Blvd, North Charleston. Hours per week: 40 Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Work schedule determined upon hire, Monday - Friday Pay Basis/FLSA: Salary/Exempt Education: Licensed Social Worker (LISW): Master's Degree in Social Work or Social Welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required. Licensed Professional Counselor: Master's Degree in Counseling for LPC from an accredited program. Physical Requirements: Continuous requirements are to work indoors; possess good finger dexterity; maintain tactile sensory functions; maintain 20/40 vision corrected in one eye or with both eyes; maintain good peripheral vision capabilities; and maintain hearing acuity with correction.
