Perform patient assessments and assign diagnoses based on scientific research and recorded data. Establish and implement care plans and provide essential education and counseling to patients within a Women's Health practice.
Requires a Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies and a current Illinois license. Preferred qualifications include a WHNP degree and at least two years of experience as an APP in primary care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program WHNP degree preferred Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
