Part-time Specimen Processing Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

Process, sort, and deliver laboratory specimens and request slips Print and properly affix identification labels to all incoming patient specimens Prioritize incoming work, ensuring samples for stat testing are delivered to the appropriate laboratory section in order to maintain stated turnaround times Communicate specimen priority to testing personnel upon delivery Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Two years applicable clinical experience working in a lab environment with specimens or equivalent college courses in the health care field preferred When you become an employee at ChristianaCare, you are joining a robust healthcare organization that truly cares about their patients and their caregivers. Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
