The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to medical providers, including obtaining vital signs and chief complaints from patients. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, restocking exam rooms, and performing phlebotomy as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a Medical Assistant certification (CCMA/CRMA). Healthcare experience, bilingual skills, and computer literacy are preferred.
We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.
Salary Range: $18-$19/hourly commensurate with experience
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Medical Assistant will provide medical support for medical providers as well as general support for other clinical activities such as maintaining equipment and supplies.
