Provide expert multidisciplinary care for pediatric oncology and hematology patients from newborn through adulthood. Evaluate and treat patients following established clinical protocols.
Requires an Associate degree in nursing, an Illinois RN license, and at least one year of nursing experience. Must obtain CPR/BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy Biotherapy certifications within specified timeframes.
The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute Registered Nurse will provide expert care for oncology and hematology patients using a multidisciplinary approach. The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute Registered Nurse evaluates and treats oncology and hematology patients, following outlined protocols. The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute Registered Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patient’s newborn through life. Compassionate care and ongoing professional development are key to success in this role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing Experience: 1 year or more of Hematology/Oncology nursing OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
