Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including initial assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and procedures per order sets and protocols
• Respond promptly to emergencies, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and implement care plans
• Observe and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and patient/family education throughout the shift

Requirements

• NYS Registered Nurse license (active)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current
• Minimum 2 years ER experience
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience; renewals preferred
• Ability to function effectively in a high-acuity ER environment
• Willingness to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule
