Patient Care Associate- TCU- Full-Time Nights

Overview

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) provides age-specific patient centered care. As a member of the patient care team, is expected to take direction from the RN for patient care assignments.

Qualifications

Required Education

• GED or
• High
• School
• Diploma
• Necessary
• Skills:
• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply all hospital computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Required
• Licensure/Certifications: Maintain active CNA license from the State of
• Florida
• BLS from the
• American
• Heart
• Association
• Required
• Experience: Less than one year of experience providing patient care.
• Preferred
• Experience: At least one (1) year providing patient care.
