SMG Pediatrics Physicians New Town is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Williamsburg, VA. ✨ New Grads welcome to apply ✨ ✨ Up to $5000 Sign-on Bonus for qualifying candidates ✨ Job Summary Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Certification required at hire Overview The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant provides an environment for safety; identifies, addresses, and incorporates principles of safety for the patient, visitors, and employees. Provides patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as appropriate). Demonstrates the ability to objectively assess a specific situation from a few viewpoints considers an array of alternatives, assists with the development of realistic action plans and evaluates outcomes.
