RN - new to Cardiac - OR Surgery - La Jolla

• This is a Full-time position as a Cardiac - RN working 12-hour day shifts with call, located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla in our brand new tower.
• We are willing to train an OR RN with a strong background circulating OR surgeries.
• This role will float to the main OR to cover business needs.

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
• Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

One year of RN experience circulating in the Operating Room California Registered Nurse License Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors. Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing CVOR experience is preferred Trauma experience
