The Nurse Practitioner diagnoses and treats veterans while developing comprehensive patient management plans in collaboration with a PACT team. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, counseling patients on medications, and maintaining timely clinical documentation according to VA guidelines.
Candidates must hold an MSN from an accredited program, be a certified Nurse Practitioner, and possess a valid DEA registration. A minimum of one year of clinical experience in primary or ambulatory care is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP): Granbury, TX
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients with diseases and injuries seeking treatment in the clinic, as directed by physician or mid-level provider. You will collaborate with the core PACT Team (Primary Care Provider, RN and Medical Assistant) and expanded PACT Team including family/caregiver, VA, and community-based services involved in developing the patient care plan.
Final compensation will be based on relevant factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
