The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative tasks, including patient intake, assisting with non-invasive procedures, and maintaining exam rooms. They also manage clinic communications, coordinate referrals, and educate patients on health-related topics.
Candidates should have completed a Medical Assistant program and possess 0-1 years of experience or a completed externship. A BCLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI is required.
The Medical Assistant supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a medical provider. This role assists with medical procedures, maintains exam rooms, facilitates patient intake, and ensures efficient clinic operations while providing excellent service to patients and staff.
