• Registered Nurse (RN)— Emergency Dept (ED)--PRN Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 WORK SCHEDULE: PRN Nights (7P-7A); as needed. Every other weekend and 2 major, 2 minor holiday’s a year required EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
• 52 beds and more than 41,000 patient-visits a year

Here’s what you will need

• Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
• BSN preferred.
• Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
• One year of Emergency experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required
• ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required
• PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required
• TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course –within 12 months required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention
