Job Summary Dermatology Specialists is looking for Certified Nursing Assistant to join our growing team. The Clinical Team Member will work directly with the Clinical Manager and Physician in providing dermatological services and excellent patient care. All training will be provided on site, as well as a reimbursement for a 16-hour Derm Tech online course completed before starting. The rate of pay is starting at $20.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications, for a full-time position, plus eligible for benefits, 401(k) and discounted cosmetic treatments.

Responsibilities

Perform rooming techniques and assisting physicians with procedures Performing clinical tasks to support physicians such as: preparing patients for examinations as directed by the physician, obtaining history and chief complaint for office visit, assisting physicians with biopsies, and assisting physicians with select surgical and cosmetic procedures Taking patient phone calls and relaying information between patient and physician Accurately maintain the pathology process in its entirety Select clinical procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, and patch testing as ordered by the physician Patient education as directed by the physician on treatment plans, procedures and medications Sterilization of equipment, supplies, exam and procedure rooms using germicides, sterilizer or autoclave Assign a triage priority based upon information available Coordinate the needs of the patient with supporting pods and assist in problem solving related to the welfare of the patient Document concisely, descriptively and legibly indicating patents’ needs Other duties as assigned Key Competencies Strong organizational skills Focus on accuracy and attention to detail Commitment to excellence and high standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Work with a team mentality and contribute to the overall business function of the organization.
