Provides culturally sensitive basic patient care and hygiene support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, operating medical equipment, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Up to six months of related work experience or an equivalent combination of training and education is required.
Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care. The Certified Nursing Assistant works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs of patients.

Requires and maintains a Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
