Provide high-quality primary care to a primarily Medicare-aged patient population in a collaborative clinic environment. Focus on quality of care over volume, typically seeing 15 to 16 patients per day.
Requires certification from AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA and current licensure in Texas as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. A valid DEA license and comfort managing senior patients are also required.
Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
A working understanding and support of a managed care environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500- $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
