About the role

Perform patient care activities including physical and psychosocial assessments under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include administering medications, preparing procedure rooms, and documenting patient data in the EMR.

Performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. RN duties include (but not limited to): assessing patients physical, psychosocial and behavior health needs; advocating for patient; administering prescribed medications, preparing exam room, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures.

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Associate’s degree or better in nursing, required.

Licensures/ Certifications

  • Active Washington State RN license or Multistate License, required.
  • Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.

Experience

• Previous clinic experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Able to work in a team environment while maintaining a highly professional and productive work ethic.
  • Utilizing skills to provide patient care.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.
