The Case Manager coordinates safe and effective care for adults with severe mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing resources for housing, income, and daily living.
Candidates must have experience in mental health, criminal justice, or social services and a valid driver's license. Education requirements vary by level, ranging from a high school diploma with experience to a bachelor's degree.
The Case Manager is responsible for coordinating and providing care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered. The Case Manager will manage a caseload of clients and work to ensure they receive the necessary services and support to achieve optimal health and well-being. Services can take place in the individuals home, community, or in a facility. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing care plans, coordinating services, and advocating for clients' rights and needs.
• Experience in the field of mental health, criminal justice, or community based social services required.
This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
