Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with wounds and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include evaluating injuries for infection, managing resident admissions and discharges, and communicating condition changes to physicians and families.
Candidates must have at least one year of LPN or RN experience and a current, active license to practice in Colorado. CPR certification and the ability to pass criminal background checks are required.

Wound Care Perks: Generous Bonuses Daily Pay Advance Option Available Growth Opportunities Health Benefits 401K Wound Care Summary: The primary responsibility of your job position is to provide excellent nursing care to patients suffering from wounds, evaluate wounds and injuries for infections or other illness factors that causes wounds and direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and skilled nursing facilities. Communicate changes in resident's condition with employees, physician, resident and family members. Perform administrative duties such as: completing medical documents, reports, evaluations, studies, charting etc. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required Complete accident/incident reports Assure adequate supplies are available including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, resident personal supplies and equipment Assure that resident abuse does not occur Complete rounds to assess, develop and implement various types of care needs on each resident including but not limited to; wound care, behavior management, respiratory care etc. Perform all other duties, as assigned
Experience with wound/care ostomy. Will provide ability to become certified. One year of LPN / RN experience. Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as RN in Colorado preferred LPN accepted, CPR Certification Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check.
