Available to both current UVA Health travelers and external candidates.

Minimum requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

Experience

  • Varies
  • Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.

Physical demands

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling.

Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs.

May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, noise, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay rate for this role is $61.00 hourly.

This position is compensated at a fixed rate.

Compensation is established in accordance with the position's approved pay structure.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Virginia RN license and AHA BLS certification. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within five years of hire, and two years of PACU experience is preferred.
