• We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant/Scribe for a full-time, Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-6:30pm and Friday, 8:00am-6:30pm position at our offices in Stuart and on Tuesday Port St.
• Lucie.

Description

• This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant/Scribe who is comfortable with in-office procedures, medical terminology, strong typing skills for scribing, multitask oriented, ambitious individual with the motivation to learn, able to handle a high volume of incoming patients, must be a self-starter and willing to learn all aspects of the ENT, Allergy and Audiology field.

• Responsibilities: Desired hands on Medical Assistant and medical Scribe experience
• MA certification or willing to participate and pass our in-house training course and state test. (Desired)
• Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures. (Will train)
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal/Organizational skills
• EMR experience
• Strong written, verbal and typing skill

PTO: Time earned per pay period Physical Demands: Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities WILL also require the incumbent to travel to Port St. Lucie on Tuesday for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
