Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities
Greet and identifies patients using two-patient identifiers.
Accurately order laboratory tests, log results, and maintain patient data within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Perform precise and gentle venipuncture.
Collect biological specimens using a variety of laboratory collection tools and methods.
Properly labels all biological specimens with two patient identifiers in front of the patient in accordance with established laboratory guidelines.
Perform a variety of CLIA-waived diagnostic tests according to established clinic protocols.
Properly process, handle, label, and prepare biological specimens for analysis or transport to reference labs while following established protocols.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using manual and automated equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
Document and report test results accurately and promptly to the electronic health record.
Report requested physician office lab (POL) test results directly to healthcare provider, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Keep the lab clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies; maintain and sanitize laboratory and equipment.
Order and stock laboratory supplies as needed.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain strict adherence to all CLIA and OSHA safety standards and infection control guidelines.
Assist the clinical team with other duties as assigned while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and best practices.
