Performs clerical and communication functions on a nursing unit. Responsible for monitoring patient data and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a dysrhythmia course. Previous experience as a monitor tech or certification as a nurse aide or unit secretary is preferred.
Non-licensed person who performs clerical and communication functions on a nursing unit. Must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the unit and hospital.
