Citrus Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Licensed Mental Health Clinician to provide high-quality mental health services to diverse populations across multiple programs. The clinician will deliver assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services for individuals, families, and groups, including clients served through county-contracted programs and commercial insurance plans. This position offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, individuals with serious mental illness, and underserved community members. Credentialing with insurance providers will begin immediately upon hire to ensure paneling by your start date or shortly thereafter.
Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families with a range of mental health needs. Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Manage a caseload that will include county-referred clients, insurance clients, and individuals with complex or intensive clinical needs. Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and stabilization services as needed. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency, county, payer, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, community partners, and referral sources to coordinate care. Participate in staff meetings, clinical consultation, training opportunities, and community outreach activities. Contribute to the mission, values, and goals of CCS through clinical excellence and teamwork.
Active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and behavioral health interventions. Experience providing mental health treatment to diverse populations. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation standards. Eligible for credentialing with insurance providers. Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience providing services through county behavioral health contracts. Experience working with serious mental illness (SMI), trauma, co-occurring disorders, foster youth, justice-involved populations, or other underserved communities. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
