The RN Intern will support the nursing department by assisting with day-to-day patient needs, rooming patients, and facilitating questionnaires. They will also observe clinic nurses and nurse navigators to gain specialized knowledge in radiation oncology care.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are required, along with a desire to specialize in radiation oncology.

The Registered Nurse Intern (RN Intern) will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Lead Nurses and other nursing department staff members with the goal of learning more about the care of the radiation oncology patient. They may, at times, assist the department with day-to-day tasks needed to support patient needs. Some of these day-to-day tasks may include communicating with patients and staff via phone or email, rooming patients, and other department-related duties. In addition, the RN Intern will observe the work of the clinic nurses and nurse navigators under the guidance of the Lead Nurse Team.
