The role involves assisting individuals in understanding and accessing mental health and substance use disorder services. The specialist will model recovery competency and provide a peer perspective within a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be dually certified as a Peer Recovery Coach and Peer Support Specialist, or be able to obtain these certifications within one year. Lived experience with mental health or substance use disorders and a valid driver's license are required.

We are seeking a dually certified Peer Support Specialist and Recovery Coach assigned to Network180’s Access Center.
In the Peer Support Specialist role, they will assist individuals in understanding and using mental health and substance use disorders services. The Peer Support Specialist will model competency in recovery and demonstrate on-going coping skills.
In the Recovery Coach role, they will assist individuals in understanding and accessing substance use disorder services. The Recovery Coach will model competency in recovery and demonstrate on-going coping skills. The Recovery Coach will bring their lived experience and peer perspective to the multidisciplinary team.
00 am to 4:30 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in-person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
